Main Stage

6 hours of entertainment and activist speeches to celebrate and mark Pride 2023

Asifa Lahore

1pm

Drag sensation and compere superstar Asifa Lahore returns to Pride 2023 to compere the event for us.

Jaymi Hensley

1.15pm

Luton born and bred Jaymi Hensley will open Pride with a fantastic set of upbeat songs. Jaymi is best known for his time with boyband, Union J

Haus of Grande

1.55pm

You won't want to miss this drag queen family of flippers and acrobatics and lip-syncing for your lives!

Mazzy

2.30pm

Luton born musician-come activist Mazzy will be tearing up the main stage bringing the true meaning to Pride 

Harry Jordan

3.20pm

Bringing a bit of blue, and country cow-girl to Luton you won't want to miss toe-tapping Harry Jordan and her band 

Tin

3.55pm

 TIN is a queer Australian pop singer songwriter blazing his way through the UK. Inspired by the boy bands and girl groups of the noughties, TIN loves to create pop music that gives you all the feels. 

Woseley

4.35pm

 Woseley is a breakthrough UK singer-songwriter blending an intoxicating mix of contemporary R&B infused with synth-pop. 

Pecs Drag

5.05pm

 Pecs Drag Kings are an all-female/non-binary theatre and cabaret company who've been creating critically acclaimed shows for the LGBTQ+ community since 2013 

Amrick Channa

5.40pm

 Amrick Channa is a Dynamic House music vocalist. His vocals have featured on various genres from soulful vocal to funky house to disco house to electro! Amrick will be known to many from his apparences on The X Factor and The Voice UK.

Headliners - Stooshe

6.10pm

 These London Lasses broke onto the UK music scene in 2012, with the release of their first single "Love Me", featuring American rapper Travie McCoy. Later that year it was announced that Stooshe had been nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll. 

Activist speeches

Throughout the day we will invite a number of activists on stage to speak about the true meaning of Pride. After all Pride is a Protest, not just a party.

A huge variety of up and coming talent and community acts from around Luton.

Big Hat Factory Community Choir

2pm

The resident choir in the Hat Factory will take to the stage to share some of their favorite songs.

Ukulele Kris presents Ukeyvision

2.45pm

Can you get much more Pride than Eurovision on a Ukulele? We think not! Kris will take us through some of his best Eurovision covers  

Katie and Dylan

3.15pm

This super singing duo are music students at Barnfield College. Join them as they play summer classics. 

LYRA

4pm

Self-confessed music lovers, LYRA are one of the bands from Luton Music Service. Made up of 13 musicians they will get your feet moving!

Luton Sixth Form Band

4.30pm

Students from Luton Sixth Form will be closing the Pride Presenting stage with a upbeat set. 


Family Zone

All activities that families might like to join in with

Arts and Crafts

1pm -5pm

Free arts and crafts provided by Mary Hearn  (opposite the Wheelies pub)

Drag Story time with Adam All

1.30pm - 2.15pm and 3pm - 3.45pm

Join international Drag King superstar for drag story time in the Studio (1st floor of Hat Factory). He will be reading some of your favorite stories and a brand new story "My brother is the prettiest Queen" by Luton publishers Formy Books.

Meet the Fire brigade

1pm - 5pm

Meet Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue (opposite the Wheelies pub)


Community Zone

Find out about community groups in and around Luton

Teenage Zone

A special zone for teenagers to hangout with friends and get advice and support

Hatch 2 - Hat Factory Arts Centre

1pm - 5pm

A special area for LGBTIQ+ teenagers to hangout , meet friends and get advice from youth workers. refreshments provided free of charge, thanks to Tesco Dunstable 


1pm - 3pm - hosted by Better Days BLMK Mind - chill out and writing workshop

3pm - 5pm - hosted by TOKKO OK2B - chill out and mask making 


Health and Wellbeing Zone

A special zone for information on Health and Wellbeing - Adults only

Come and talk about your health and wellbeing with professionals supporting the LGBTIQ+  community:

Bedfordshire Hero Sandy Flaps

7pm - midnight

The dame of Bedfordshire Sandy Flapps will be charging through from 7pm - midnight at the official after party. on Factory Floor 

Swerve does Pride!

8pm - midnight

DJ Maz will be playing alternative music in the basement
